Picked up food to go today around 4:00 p.m. Ordered online, but special request, no mushrooms, was overlooked. Although the restaurant appeared clean, I felt it had a very odd, unpleasant smell upon entering...extremely disagreeable and overwhelming. The war wonton soup had no won tons in it, a disappointment especially at 7.95. The rest of the meal, Mongolian beef, chicken wings, and pork chicken lo mein, was tasty. All things considered, it was just ok...I expected better.
Waitress never got off her cell phone the entire time we were there and the food was nothing to brag about either.
Food was delicious! The chef came to take our order.. cooked to perfection as recommended. Extremely humble & personable.
This place is absolutely spectacular, I couldn't tell you the amount of good people here and the food is good. People really know what they're doing and I love that. You really don't see that in many places no-a-days. One time I went to this other Chinese place and it was no where near the level of this place. I remember sitting there thinking how I wished I was at Gung Ho, but you know I wasn't. So you know what I did? I dropped everything and drove right to Gung Ho and order the same meal, it was so much better. Needless to say I was in Buffalo new York, so I had a hefty drive there, but worth it! So honestly, just come to Gung Ho, like really, just come here, you'll probably love it.
Eat here often, food is good. Hasn't failed me yet so that's a plus
