On a Saturday night it was busy and loud but able to sit outside, which was nice. Wait staff was pleasant and although the wait was a bit long, it was a busy night. Menu caters to different tastes, and all done well. Seared Tuna was cooked perfectly for me, seasoned just right. All others at our table were very happy with their meals
Fantastic combination of classic Portuguese dishes bracketed by modern American dishes on the menu. Great service, and oh yea.... some pretty awesome beer made on premise in a nano brewery behind the main restaurant.
A co worker and myself are out here for work and discovered this place and tried it and we both had the NY sirloin on the lava stone with scallops and the sweet potato hash and it was incredible and the price was great and the experience of cooking on the lava stone was different and cool. Wait staff is friendly and the wings are the best.. we will be eating there each week we are out here during this project!!!!
We tried the steak on the hot rocks and it is definitely an interesting way to have a meal. The sauces and sides were good as well. Will have to go back to try the Portuguese dishes which also looked good. They also had a good wait staff.
Awful over-priced food and poor atmosphere ... if not for the exceptional beer from Vanished Valley it would have been a wasted evening. We dined in with a party of 4, the dining room leaves quite a bit to be desired, dirty ceiling tiles and air vents, folded up coasters propping up uneven tables and chairs and that's before we got our food. All 4 of our entrees came with a house salad, too bad all the greens were wilted and old. Not one of us even touched the salad and sent it back, and there was no offer from the waitress to replace them. Then came our entrees which had great presentations but the good ends there. The salt cod was overcooked, the seafood paella was bland and the lobster dish was overcooked. The flavors just don't hold up, they have a great menu of Portuguese foods but they cannot execute it. Save your money and go elsewhere!
