This office is ridiculous. They never contact me with test results. I've waited weeks and had to call them only to wait days more for a response. They won't refill prescriptions online. I have to call the office for refills every month then drive out from East Longmeadow to Ludlow to pick them up then drive back to East Longmeadow to drop off at my pharmacy. Over an hour of travel. My pharmacy has tried to get direct refills for me and they've responded with emails and fax that state that the request is "unreasonable", leaving me days without what I need and in great discomfort. When I asked why over the phone today, the response was "This system works best for our office." I told her it doesn't work best for me and was told about the extended office hours that should make picking up my prescriptions more "convenient." I work full time. I'm a mom to 2 active boys. Needless to say, I'm currently looking for a new Drs office to deal with.
**UPDATE** My prescriptions were just picked up and filled. 1 is completely wrong. Should be 30 mg time release capsules. They wrote it out as 20 mg tablets. I specifically stated the dosage info on the phone this morning when requesting the refill. You can imagine how angry I am because fixing this involves more phone calls, another hour of travel and dealing with the insurance company because of 2 different prescriptions for the same meds in 24 hrs. Im done with this office.
Honestly, I have never had a more positive experience from a PCP. The staff is helpful, they aren't burdensome, and I have little difficulty making or rescheduling appointments.
This is the most disorganized place I have ever been to. Many of the staff are rude and unhelpful. Paperwork gets lost, and wait times are extremely unreasonable. As a patient, I feel uncared for and unhappy working with this office.
